Calvert County Public Schools’ transportation services are
available to every student enrolled in the school system. The Department of
Transportation strives to provide economical and efficient transportation for
all students which is safe, both physically and emotionally.

scheduling hundreds of co- and extra-curricular bus trips for instructional

1) two-way radios so bus drivers can communicate with our office and;
2) audio-visual recording systems on the buses to assist with the investigation
Additionally, Transportation oversees inspections of all
buses multiple times throughout the year to ensure compliance with all Motor
Vehicle Administration and Code of Maryland safety standards.
