The School Facilities Department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all schools, maintaining the buildings, grounds and equipment to provide for optimum safety and comfort of the occupants. School Facilities consists of the Maintenance and Operations departments providing the following services:
- Air Conditioning
- Work Order Technician
- Audio Visual/Alarm Security Technician
- Building Services staff
Requests for services are entered through our work order system, Team Works. All schools and departments can submit a work order to the School Facilities Department in a matter of a few clicks of the keyboard. The work order is then printed with a priority code and put in the appropriate mailbox for one of the maintenance workers to complete.
Once the job is completed, the work order is then returned to our Work Order Technician, and the data is input into the system. The completed work order shows the man-hours, materials used, total cost, and the date the job is completed. Team Works prints out preventative maintenance work orders on a timely basis. CCPS is working to implement many more functions of this system in the future.
